Step 01
Product Development Phase
You work with our NPD team to develop a bespoke formulation aligned to your product goals and target market. We manage formulation, ingredient sourcing, specifications, and regulatory considerations at this stage.
Step 02
Manufacturing Selection Phase
We identify and engage the most suitable manufacturing partner based on your product category, volume, market requirements, and required certifications. All manufacturing partners are vetted and accredited for the relevant region (e.g. GMP, HACCP, BRC).
Step 03
Manufacturing Trial Phase
We coordinate scale-up and commercial trials with the selected manufacturer to validate formulation, processing, packaging, and quality before full production. Client approval is required before proceeding.
Step 04
Production Phase
Once approved, production is executed by the certified manufacturer. We oversee timelines, quality checks, and logistics through to delivery to your warehouse or distribution partner.

Can I start with a small batch or low minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Absolutely, we have a network of global manufacturing partners who all cater to different production volumes. We will always negotiate onn your behalf to get you the best production deal every time.
Do you hold manufacturing or food safety certifications (e.g. BRC, ISO, HACCP)?
YGF Manufacturing is a product development, sourcing, and manufacturing coordination partner, not a physical manufacturer. For this reason, we do not hold manufacturing certifications such as BRC, ISO 22000, or HACCP in our own name.
Instead, every product we develop and bring to market is manufactured by vetted, certified manufacturing partners that hold the appropriate accreditations for their category and region. This typically includes certifications such asBRCGS / BRC, ISO 22000 / ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, Organic, Halal, Kosher (where required).
We verify certifications at the manufacturer level, ensure they are current, and align the chosen facility with your product category, target market, and regulatory requirements (FSANZ, UK FSA, EFSA, TGA where applicable). Where required, manufacturer certifications can be shared during the manufacturing stage under NDA.
This model allows our clients to access best-in-class manufacturers globally, without being locked into a single facility.
How much does it cost to manufacture my product?
Costs depend on your product type, ingredients, packaging, and volume. Once we understand your concept, we provide a detailed quote covering development, sampling, and manufacturing—transparent and tailored to your budget.
Do you help with formulation and flavour development?
Absolutely. Our food science team works with you to develop functional, great-tasting formulas. Whether you need a pre-workout, electrolyte drink, protein blend, or bar—we can refine the taste, texture, and performance.
Can you help with compliance, regulations, and packaging?
Yes. We support FSANZ compliance, ingredient documentation, nutritional panels, and basic label audits. We also offer packaging support—from sourcing to printing and filling.
How long does it take to develop and launch a product?
This is a 3-step process. Step 1, product development, typically takes 3–6 months depending on the product type and how quickly we move through sampling and approvals—on average, powder-based products take around 3–4 months, while gummies, bars, or drinks may take 4–5 months. Step 2, packaging, usually takes about 1 month and can be completed alongside product development to save time. Step 3, manufacturing, can take anywhere from 1–6 months depending on the product type, volumes, and supplier lead times. Faster turnarounds are possible if you’re ready to approve quickly.
